Sometimes going to confession as catholic could be funny and interesting. A man went for confession to a priest in Ezamgbo in Abakaliki, at the mention of the first sin, the priest shouted " chaiiiiiiiiii! Ishi no kini? hmmmmmmmmmm!" "Go on, go on go onnnnnnnnnnnnnn" said the priest. The confessee mentioned the second sin amd the priest shouted again "nwoke'm idu kwa shoruu ne shi digu?" "meaning are you sure you are well in your head?"
The man was asked to read the whole bible for his penance.
Three months later the wife was worried why her husband has not been going for confession all the while. One day she asked him " papa Ikenna, it has been long you went for confession, hope all is well." "Hmmmmm yes my wife, but the penance the priest gave me in the last one I went will take me a year and, so no need going again, let me try and see if I will finish the penance in three years.

THE PATH TO HAPPINESS AND FULFILLMENT The harmattan was totally something else. The wind was dry and dusty.
